BSI’s Founder, Toby Herzlich, offers 1:1 coaching with an emphasis on partnering deeply with each client towards their most ambitious and heartful goals and dreams. Grounding the work in nature-based wisdom, Toby integrates her ICF Coaching accreditation and a Brain-Based Coaching Certification from the NeuroLeadership Institute, along with 18 years as a Senior Trainer and coach with the Rockwood Leadership Institute.  Coaching clients include innovative and adaptive  leaders intrigued by applying a living systems lens to their social benefit results, as well as Biomimicry Professionals committed to advancing their professional practice as powerfully as possible.

 As a post-pandemic revitalization effort, BSI teamed with n’Rhythm to support the largest climate solutions advocacy campaign within one of the nation’s largest environmental organizations to integrate practices for individual personal ecology and team regeneration.

We have consulted with AEF through their growth and development over more than seven years, connecting this global network of philanthropists, scientists, and practitioners through evolutionary, whole-systems strategic planning and organizational development.

 BSI’s Science Team investigated how nature’s intelligence can inform the Seven Key Practices of a Beloved Economy, enhancing this book with research, nature-positive references, and a contributed chapter on “Life’s Principles and the Seven Practices.”

A Canadian-based rainforest protection NGO, whose mission is to shift supply chain decision-makers from being forest destroyers to conservation champions.  Canopy engaged BSI in the inquiry, “How does nature maintain win-win collaborative partnerships that can endure even in the face of disruption?”

Together we developed “Nature’s Four Key Criteria for Enduring Partnerships” and supported their strategic application to advance Canopy’s success.
