Anjan Prakash is a Biomimicry Professional, designer of nature-inspired education for young adults in India, and a Natural World Communicator through her blog, "How I Wonder What You Are." With over sixteen years of advertising experience and seven years dedicated to studying Biomimicry, she possesses a unique perspective on the interplay between nature's wisdom and human creativity and culture.
Currently, Anjan is developing experiential and immersive learning experiences for youth ages 15-18, rooted in Biomimicry Design thinking, innovation, and leadership. By harnessing the power of nature, youth gain introspection, inquiry, and insights while applying their learning to real-world community projects. Her ultimate goal is to empower youth to make nourishing and meaningful choices, both individually and collectively. Anjan finds fulfillment in Celebrating Life in all its forms, encompassing the human and more-than-human world and residing at the intersection of nature's wisdom and human culture, evoking gratitude, wonder, and joy.

Anne-Marie Daniel is a Biomimicry Professional and co-Founder/partner in Roy Group and their innovation arm, NatuR&D. NatuR&D is located on the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ people (a.k.a. Southern Vancouver Island, BC). With her interdisciplinary perspective, which includes a BFA in Theatre Design, a Graduate Certificate in Mediation, and a Master's in Biomimicry, she facilitates the innovation process so that everyone can play a role in finding creative solutions. Her approach is inclusive, collaborative, and accessible, inviting people of all talents and backgrounds to contribute their unique piece of the puzzle.
She designs virtual and in-person experiences for teams and organizations to identify the issue they are struggling with and the interests they need to meet so they can look to Nature for strategies and apply them. From team dynamics to organizational knots, she helps people make the connection to Nature’s many ways of tackling complex problems.

Asha Singhal is a biomimicry practitioner, architect and researcher dedicated to crafting regenerative environments and envisioning transformative futures. Integrating biology, architecture, and technology, she weaves pragmatic narratives of hope inspired by nature. She is involved in several initiatives to bridge nature-positive futures with reality such as The Ray Highway, Perennial and Born Global foundation to name a few.
Asha is the Co-Director & Co-Founder of The Futuring Collective, an initiative that helps teams imagine and communicate hopeful futures. She has served as the Executive Design Lead at Biomimicry Frontiers and Research Advisor of Sustainability at Biomimicry Academy. Brandi Mack

Brandi Mack is a community development leader and consultant with expertise in women's leadership, organizational consulting, holistic health education, and traditional ecological knowledge. She is the founder of The Butterfly Movement, a non-profit organization that empowers women and girls of color to become agents of change in their communities. Brandi's work has been recognized by numerous organizations, including the National Science Foundation and the White House Council on Women and Girls. She speaks at numerous conferences, including a 2023 session at Living Futures. She holds a degree in Organizational Management and is a certified Holistic Health Practitioner.
Brandi believes in the power of community-led solutions to create more just and equitable societies. Her work with The Butterfly Movement, the Designing Justice Designing Spaces team, and the People Power Solar Cooperative are all efforts to build capacity and create positive change for underserved communities.
Catalina Bustillo Restrepo

Catalina Bustillo is an architect, farmer, and biomimicry practitioner. With more than 18 years of experience as general manager of Natuani Ltda, a family cattle ranching and agricultural production business, she brings intimate and hands on knowledge about nature and agriculture to her work. Catalina is also a Managing Member of Sharing Nature's Genius, a designer-focused platform supporting the application of Biomimicry as a tool for sustainable innovation.
Catalina also applies Biomimicry to social innovation in education, specifically in developing curricula for college teachers, recognizing the importance of integrating Biomimicry into education to inspire the next generation of leaders to develop sustainable solutions to complex challenges. As the Director of Biomímesis Caribe, she is committed to fostering the growth of Biomimicry in the Caribbean region.
Deborah Bidwell

Deb Bidwell is a Senior Instructor in Biology at the College of Charleston, Chief Biology Officer at Sharing Nature's Genius, and a Biomimicry Mentor at Learn Biomimicry. She is a passionate advocate for Biomimicry and its potential to revolutionize sustainable design and living. With a background in marine finfish aquaculture and fisheries science, her teaching pedagogy is research-backed, modern, and interdisciplinary. Deborah has published several articles and papers on her work, which you can find here.
Deb works closely with BSI as science advisor, applying Biomimicry to social innovation and exploring how we can learn from nature to create more sustainable, regenerative systems. A contributor of nature’s intelligence to research informing the Beloved Economies project, she believes Biomimicry offers a unique opportunity to shift our thinking and reimagine the way we approach design, engineering, economics, and living in general.
Genell Hoechstetter

Genell Hoechstetter is a Biomimicry Master's student at Arizona State University and a Biomimicry Professional candidate with Biomimicry 3.8 in the 2022-2024 cohort. She has has a professional background with Walt Disney Imagineering and is currently Creative Director for the Meow Wolf team, a group of artists and makers producing immersive and interactive experiences to transport audiences to fantastic realms.

Karen Allen

Karen Allen is a Certified Biomimicry Professional, biologist and educator who is passionate about sharing the secrets of the natural world to inspire sustainable innovations and regenerative organizations and systems. She infuses workshops with her interdisciplinary science background and deep love of natural history and teaching, translating nature’s strategies for non-biologists. Karen is the founder of Aequinox, an organization that seeks to protect and restore ecosystems and inspire design that emulates nature’s patterns. She has over 25 years of experience working on collaborative projects in nature connection, biomimicry, habitat restoration, wetland science, and conservation planning.
As a workshop leader with Aequinox and Biomimicry 3.8, Karen has trained hundreds of individuals in the tools of biomimicry and their application to real-world challenges. Karen co-created and co-teaches BSI’s Living Systems Leadership workshops and is faculty in the Master of Science in Biomimicry program at Arizona State University Online. Karen believes in using nature as a mentor to support a just, equitable and regenerative world for all.

Nadine Gudz is a social innovator, consultant, and educator with a passion for leadership development and sustainability. As the former Global Sustainability Director at Interface Inc., she led Interface's Mission Zero initiative to achieve zero negative impact by 2020 and launched the company's next mission, Climate Take Back, to reverse global warming and create a climate fit for life.
